THE MAJOR PLAYER IN LEARNING FRENCH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE IN ROUEN

Founded in 1986, the Alliance française de Rouen-Normandie is a non-profit association, a private higher education institution and a continuous education organisation whose principle mission is the promotion of French language and Francophone cultures and promoting cultural diversity by highlighting all cultures.

It is part of the international network of the Alliance Française which includes more than 800 centres in 132 countries, annually hosting more than 500,000 students. This vast network is coordinated by the Fondation Alliance Française.

The Alliance Française provides unique access to French language and culture in the heart of Rouen. Housed in a heritage building, annually it hosts more than 950 students, representing 90 different nationalities. The Alliance is an official examination centre for the DELF, DALF, TCF, and DAEFLE.

Our teaching team is composed of permanent teaching staff, all of whom are graduates and specialists in teaching French as a foreign language. The Alliance Française French classes are aimed at students of all levels, aged 16 and over.
